Overview
BigChange is the Leeds-born all-in-one: CRM, job scheduling, a rugged engineer app, hard-wired vehicle tracking, smart dashcams, payments and invoicing in a single subscription — and every full licence ships with compulsory hardware (a hard-wired tracker plus a SIM-connected rugged tablet). Its real strength is the ecosystem around it: native Xero and Sage accounting sync, HubSpot marketing via SyncEzy, what3words location precision, RingCentral telephony, and its own BigChange Network for allocating work to subcontractors. The newer Lightning AI layer (JustAsk, JobScribe, JobBrief) automates field paperwork and customer alerts. One important disclosure: since October 2024 BigChange has belonged to simPRO Group — the products remain distinct, but roadmap overlap is now a legitimate buying question. No free trial, and multi-year contracts are commonly reported.

- Deep finance (ledger, payroll, corp tax) still lives in Xero/Sage, not here

Best for

Probably not for
Micro-teams wanting month-to-month self-serve pricing, anyone already invested in separate tracking hardware, and buyers allergic to long contracts without trials.

BigChange is the strongest all-in-one in UK field service — the ecosystem (Xero, Sage, HubSpot, what3words, the Network) makes it a hub, not just a tool. Just compute the hardware-bundled total cost honestly and ask the simPRO question before signing multi-year.
